Spent the weekend in the Chesapeake area for a nice getaway weekend. Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Location is very nice, within short walking distance (.5mi) from several nice restaurants. Have a nice small lawn area with patio and chairs for looking into the water. Amenities are what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express. Would definitely stay there again.

This has always been our go-to spot when traveling over the Bay Bridge to the Eastern Shore! My husband and I are always treated like family every time we arrive, and that means a lot. HIE upgraded their bathrooms over the winter months to a very modernized and GORGEOUS look! From the hot delicious breakfast, to the oversized rooms, to super-comfortable beds, to having hot coffee available all day long, to the comfortable lounge chairs facing the water where you can recline and enjoy the breeze and beautiful sunsets ~ I cannot say enough about this location, it's a great place to stay!
This hotel is conveniently located and is beautifully decorated. Our room was spectacular. Large and inviting. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Modern furnishings were perfect. A couch and chairs gave plenty of options to relax and read or watch tv. The view of the bay from our window was breathtaking. Lovely grounds and pool

We love the all U can eat breakfast buffet, the scenery of the bay the boat yard and the trees, the many restaurants near, the pool, laundry room, popcorn in the afternoon, the help is friendly, the rooms, the bed and pillows so comfy, management is friendly, the parking and layout of the place. We keep coming back year after year. We have never found anything as wonderful as the Holiday in Express.
